Welcome to Bethany Lutheran Preschool! Thank you for selecting us to care for your child and to share in their growth. Our aim is to provide the best possible program to meet your child’s needs.

My name is Danielle (Dani) Peeling and I am the Director of BLPS. I am a 6th generation Florida native who moved to Alexandria almost seven years ago. I love living in Virginia and exploring all that the D.C. area has to offer.

Fun fact about me: Before I started working in education, I was in the radio industry as an on-air host. I miss being behind the microphone, but I absolutely love being here at Bethany with your children. I taught the Fox Class for two years and have been working in the preschool office since 2018. I love organizing, event planning, and traveling back home to visit family.

My husband, Andrew, and I are blessed with a sassy, spunky seven-year-old, Quinn, who will be in Second Grade this year, as well as her adorable, bright-eyed little brother, Luke, who will be in the 3s class.

I am so excited to spend the year with your little ones and cannot wait to get to know you more!

My name is Kelley Durham, and I am from Los Angeles, California. This is my third year working in the office and my 5th year at Bethany. My family and I are so happy that our journey has brought us to Alexandria, VA and we are thrilled to be members of the wonderful community here at Bethany. I feel blessed to be here, the students are inspiring and the families offer the kindest support!

I also teach STEAM to our elementary classes. My favorite thing about teaching is helping each child to grow and succeed. Each student comes to Bethany with so much potential and eagerness to learn. I feel privileged to help foster that excitement and make their learning experience come alive. I am excited for the year ahead!
