Hello! I am thrilled to be the first Kindergarten/1st grade teacher at BLPS! I have taught many different age groups and grades, but there’s just something special about a student's first two years. It’s the foundation of their start in elementary school, and I want to make sure that foundation is a great one!
I have degrees in both Elementary Education (Bachelors) and Curriculum & Instruction (M.Ed.). I believe that even adults can learn something new every day, and I try to instill that into my daily life. I never want to stop learning about God’s wonderful world!
I grew up in a small town in North Carolina, and moved to the area in 2016. When I’m not at BLPS, I love exploring the area with my husband, four year old son, brand new baby girl, and 2 rescue pups.
I look forward to meeting all of you, and working with your child this upcoming school year. With your assistance, my aim is to help your child realize his or her full potential, and develop a lifelong love for learning!
Ms. Precious Watson

Hello all! My name is Precious Watson, but you can call me Ms. Precious. I will be working with the Bobcats class this year and I am so excited to start my journey with the Bethany Lutheran family. This will be my first year as an Assistant Teacher with BLPS so I cannot wait to meet and interact with all of you!
I have worked previously tutoring in DC at the elementary level, as well as tutoring K-12 students country-wide online. I have previously worked assisting infants as well; I love working with kids of all ages. When I am at home, I am either working on homework, relaxing with my gecko, Pringle, or just enjoying a nice book or movie.
